Sabine is a regular prime-time presence at Almaty’s key underground venues, including the new Asylum, the now-defunct bULt and Subject. She has appeared in the lineups of projects such as ZVUK, JILT, Weekender, kultura (Pavlodar), Aftertoy (Bishkek), and many others.

Behind the decks and in all her creative projects, Sabine is a storyteller — every artistic expression is a form of communication for her. To her, sound is almost a tangible substance with textures and shapes that fills space. Her selection evolves with her, unrestricted by genre boundaries, yet it remains unfailingly passionate and eclectic, gravitating towards darker matter, denser sound, and higher temperatures.

“The mix begins after sunset and ends just before dawn. I think it will resonate with anyone who, like me, loves the night and truly breathes freely in it. For me, the night is about both silence and storm — but everything in it is always more predatory, more sensitive, more corporeal, subtler, and sharper.”
